Back to work
Mar 13th, 2005 at 12:24pm

Just letting everyone know that I had my first week back to work on a part-time basis and everything went really well.   Smiley   Even though I feel like I didn't accomplish anything once I left, I did get a lot done.

I did have a very small TIA one morning when I got up.  My left side of my lips became tingly and numb.  It only lasted about a minute....so no big deal.

I will go back to work full-time at the end of this month.

Great news Michelle !!!! Amazing how much you been through...only seemed like yesterday when I met you via live chat...and you were in the middle of training a temp to take your place before your surgeries.  You've come a long way !!!  Cara still experiencing one or two TIA's daily...very very very tiny but still enough to stop her speech for few seconds and then when she "yawns" I know it ended...getting used to it and instead of freaking out...I hold her hand and pray that it does nothing more.  Hugs, CarasMOM

You ROCK, Michelle!  It has been a long road for you, with some pretty major bumps along the way.  I remember back when you were in the hospital, unable to talk and very frustrated.  Shane and your mom were so terribly worried about you.

Now you're starting to resume your life as it was before your diagnosis.  Not only that, you've become passionate about MM education and getting the word out.  I am so proud of you!  Keep up the great work!

Lots of love,
Jill

Michelle-

Glad to hear the news! I know that it felt good to get back to normal routines after surgery. Good luck as you continue the process!
