Tricia,

I may be able to get a copy of the paper if you are interested.  I'm going to go raid all of our papers here at the office and see if I have any more of them.

If so, I would be glad to send you the section it appears in.

A MILLION PLUS THANKS FOR THE NY TIMES ARTICLE.

I had my first stroke in '99 and bypass surgery with Steinberg in 2000. At that time there was little known and less support.   This article brought tears of joy, delight, recognition and more joy --- Thank you thank you, Thank you.

I have emailed it to everyone I know: family, friends, Making Headway (group for tramatic brain injury survivors and prevention in Northern Calif.) and other brain injury associated groups, doctors, everyone!!!!!!

Again THANK YOU

Love, LA

Hey all!  I haven't been on in a while-school and kids are keeping me busy, but the article is great!  I just read it this morning, and I like how it explained every step in the surgery.  Since I was "out" for my surgery, I wondered about what all took place after I was put under.  This article really explains it in detail, and I think it's great coverage for mm  and the great work Dr. Steinberg and Stanford are doing.  It's been over a year since my 2nd surgery, and I have had no symptoms/problems since!  Thanks DJ for putting this article out there for us to see!  Tricia  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

I saw the article on the internet. That is a great article isn't it!!!!
I only wish it was in an Australian newspaper as there isn't much awareness over this side on the world, but a great new article anyway,
