Lisa's surgery
Apr 11th, 2005 at 11:24am

Hi all,

I just thought I'd mention that another MM family member, LisaH, is having surgery on Wednesday, April 13th. I ask that you all please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!

Hey Lisa,

Don't worry girlfriend, you'll be fine. You're too ornery not to be...lol There's no way I won't be right there with you in spirit babe, and you know I love ya! Smiley

Hey buddy,

I have faith that all will be well on Wednesday.  Your family and Mark will be with you, and Mar and I will be hovering in spirit (it's about time she and I met, anyway!).

I know you're anxious, but try not to worry too much.  It will be nice to have surgery behind you and to get on with this new phase of your life.  We've got prayers coming fast and heavy from California, so keep your chin up, o.k.?

Lots of love,
Jill

Hello Everyone,

I'm leaving for the hospital in 15 minutes but I just had to quickly thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.  It means so very much to me!

I especially want to thank 3 people who mean the world to me.

Jill- I am so thankful that I met you!  Even though we just met in December, I consider you among my greatest of friends.  Thank you for all your "checkup" calls and all the chuckles (Jill is not quite the 100% angel everyone thinks she is!  HeHeHe) Smiley  I admire so much all the support you have given to me and everyone on this board!

Buckethead (DJ)- You were my first MM buddy and 3 years later look at what you've accomplished!  I'm very proud of you my friend.  Thanks for all the laughs and a HUGE thanks for always helping me read my reports and reading between the lines.  You behave yourself my smoking, drinking, cursing ........ (fill in the blank) angel on earth!

Miss Mar (aka Poopie)- You are the most amazing woman I've ever had the honor to meet and call friend.  I seriously wouldn't have made it through the year without you.  You have been unbelievable and I can't believe the size of your heart girlfriend.  Now, look at the last line I wrote to DJ and it applies to you too!  LOL   Smiley

Thanks again & I love ya guys! Smiley  Cya soon!

Hi everyone,

Had word from Lisa's sweetie, Mark, that all went well with her surgery today Smiley.  Awesome news!  She was talking about taking her laptop to the hospital with her, so maybe we'll hear from her "live" in the next couple of days - stay tuned!

I know she is grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers . . . please keep them coming as she goes through the recovery process!

Hugs to my MM family,
Jill

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

I feel like I've been hit with a few cars, buses and and a couple of jetlineers but I'm sure I'll survive (I always do!)  .  I can' wait to gget on here again soont o tell you about what a fantastic job this brillant surgeon in Chicago did for me this time.  Literally, and I will talk more about this later, I didn't think I was going to make it thru this MM stuff becuase of all the failed surgeries and other problems I had in the past but this time I have a new lease on life- and a new kind of surgery too!   I hate to be all mushy but everytime I keep thinking about it I just start crying anew and I (if I could but I can't) would get down on my knees thanksing the Good Lord for my life right now.  Didn't honeslty think it was gonna happen.

Well, bertter go back to bed annd rest but thank you all soooo very much for all yoru support and prayers!  Love you guys! (Even you Buckethead!  Kiss)
