Undecided Hi I Andrea was scheduled to see dr. dauser in June. However she started vomiting again. Not normally either, she is fine between the bouts of vomiting. Our pediatrician had a difficult time but finally talked to our neurosx here and he sent us to the ER they did at CT scan and blew us off as a viral inf. She had no fever no diarrhea, just vomits @ night. SO My dr called dr dauser and we drove to Houston , Dr dauser says she definatley has had an old stroke he is not sure if it is MM since there is no puff of smoke but she does have an occlusion and tortuos vessels of the brain and he was to do an MRI and arteriogram to see if there has been any new strokes or any new vessels show up since the last study was done in 12-2003. We are also taking Andrea to a GI dr to rule out any other cause of her vomigting dr dauser does not think it is related to her head.  I finally feel someone is listening to me and is taking charge of the situation and not waiting to see what happens!!!
Has anybody else had vomiting assocoated w/MM that did not include fever, or diarrhea???
Thank you again for all your info I would not have been able to find dr dauser with out MM.com

Sad  Hi Red and a heart felt welcome to our family.  All I know is that Vomiting is one of the symptoms of stroke and other neuro vascular oroblems.  It seems as though you're in good hands.  I've only heard good things about Dr.Dauser.

Stay positive, give your daughter our best and you're in our prayers.

Hi Andrea,

I am sorry to hear you're daughter is vomiting.  It sounds like it could be related to her neuro-vascular issues.  I hope you find out something soon.

My daughter hasn't had vomiting from her Moyamoya, but she has had lots of colicky tummy pain.  It seems to come around the same time of day with her, too.
