Healer ( John of God in Brazil)
Jun 2nd, 2005 at 2:37pm

I know this sounds like "wishful thinking" but I have been seeing a healer and she went last year to John of
God in Brazil and had surgery done by his hands. Since,
nothing worked to help her bleeding ( she was told to have a hysterectomy). She opted to go see John of God and he took a tumor out after openging her stomach with his hand...granted NO PAIN, not much blood. It's been about 6 months and she has no more symptons and does not need a hysterectomy. She has also recieved a lot more healing power. Is it mind over matter? He also does "indirect" surgeries by meditation so he does not open you up.
I am thinking of going with them next time. It will be after my surgery w/ Dr. Steinberg but if there is a significant improvment with the MM not related to his
surgery, it's something to think about.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? AGAIN, WISHFUL THINKING???

IMO...  this is a forum for moyamoya disease, information and support relating to moyamoya, and that's a whole other topic for which I'm sure there are many opinions, but perhaps better discussed in the "jibber jabber" section.

Yes, you are right.  I should have gone to Jibber Jabber, but wasn't thinking...any way no offense. Some people do believe in Holistic healing and sometimes "one" wants to research all avenues, in my case I did. Sorry....

Sorry again,

They did a report on this guy on ABC Primetime.  You can read about it here.  There are 4 pages to the story so make sure you see the "continued" part on the bottom right of the screen.

I saw that ABC Primetime show.  It seemed like the people who went to see him were very convinced of his powers, but - personally - it seemed kind of creepy, to me.

I'd never take Daphne to him.  But, if it were a health issue I were dealing with myself, I might be more willing to take a risk.

I think it has to do with mind over matter, and the more you can completely believe, the better it works. There are many cases that mind over matter have worked, but with the way we are brought up it's hard to believe strongly enough for it to help, unless it's a last resort. I think trying it with a child would be harder, because the adults would have to have complete faith in order for the child to believe enough for it to work.

Thank you all for your opinion on this but I'm going to switch to talk about this in Jibber Jabber. Interesting what our minds can do sometimes.

LOL,
