hi shan.

just remember you just had brain surgery...if you are up and typing on the computer you must be doing good. ;

Recovery varies greatly from one person to another so there are no set guidelines, timelines.
Cara being six and half was "very aware" of all her TIA's (seizures that you call them). She had an EEG and 24hr EEG which both say they aren't seizures....in a six week period two weeks after her second surgery...she experienced over 140 of them...very tiny, and is aware of it happening....she can't talk, like her tongue is frozen, she walks over to me and with her finger writes "TIA" in the air. I ask her how old are you...in the air she makes a six...a second later she talks again...Mommy, I am six"...then she lets out a big yawn.
You were put on anti seizure medication so you shouldn't experience them....Cara wasn't put on anything as she didn't have any TIA's / seizures prior to surgeries...and I wondered why some people who posted said (like u) were put on those medication. Caras TIA's were like at the most no more than 15 seconds from start to yawn (end)...but when she had up to 8 to 12 a day...that was too much.
We can't really know what kind of stuff could happen during the post op recovery either. Some never experience what others experience. No one on the site has had what Cara has gone through...one even told me it was too extreme. Most would have one TIA now and then which is more common. (one a week or one a month or even none at all...or maybe one six months post surgery....even a year or two from surgery).
It sounds like you're doing great....take it easy and get lots of rests, naps....you'll be your old self in no time.
