Hello All, I had the direct bypass on July 11TH at Brigham & Womens hospital in Boston, MA DR.DAY did a awesome job. Everything went well. The surgery took 6 hours, I woke up at the end of surgery in the or room, and asked "what time is it"? they told me 2pm . They had me move my arms, and legs and off to ICU. Was very, very nauseous for hours. They gve me medicine to help with the nausea. Next day had arterygram of the brain. It showed all was well in the brain. Went home on July 14th. Dr.Day was great!!!! 8 days later had stiches out, then back 3 days later to get 6 more stiches do to leakage. Had a tia on 25th but, doing all right. Thanks for the support and prayers!!!!!!!!!!! Believe it or not the nervousness stopped the morning of the surgery. I really felt a calm feeling. Things went quickly for me that day. But, not for my family. They got through it. It was a joy!!!! to see them in ICU. Lena......................
