Shanna's surgery tomorrow.
Aug 25th, 2005 at 1:55am

Hello friends,

I met with Shanna today for she is having her surgery at
ANAHEIM KAISER tomorrow. She had her right side and now her left. Please say a prayer for her although I know she will be fine.
Her doctor trained with Dr. Steinberg at Stanford and she is anxious to get it done once and for all.

Thank you,
itsme

Irene,

You're doing a great job of "paying it forward"!  Please let Shanna know her MM family will be thinking of her today . . . saying prayers that all goes well.  We'll look forward to an update when you have one!

Big hugs,
Jill

Hi everyone,

Just spoke to Shanna's mother and Shanna is doing good. She will be in ICU at Kaiser for 5 days. Her mother said Shanna will not be able to check the board till she gets home in 5 days & rest a while. Shanna had her arteries taken from her right arm and then attached to her brain so it may take a while for her arm to heal and start typing away.
The good news is the surgery went well and thank you all for your prayers, on behalf of Shanna!

Lots of love,
itsme

Hey Irene,

Thanks so much for the update on Shanna!  I've been thinking about her all day, wondering at what point surgery was, and envisioning her loved ones waiting in the surgical waiting area.

I am very glad to hear that all went well Smiley, and will continue saying prayers for her quick recovery.  Please let her know we're still with her in spirit, and will wait for her to get back on the board!

Hugs from up north,
Jill
