Prayers for Ann's family please...
Oct 14th, 2005 at 3:23pm

Hello,
I am a friend of Ann's family.  We knew that she had an online support group, and I was able to find you after some searching.

Ann passed away on Friday, October 7th, 2005.  We are all devestated as she is a wife and mother of two young boys.  Her obituary can be found here Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register  I believe there is a guestbook attached to it if you would like to leave her family a message.

Ann was a very caring person and a wonderful mom to her boys.  I know that she and her husband have also been together for a long time.  Her family could truly use all the prayers you can give at this time.  Her wake is today and the funeral will be tomorrow.

God Bless,

Suzanne

Suzanne,

My  Smiley just dropped!  I just sent you a PM and an email asking if this is my dear friend Ann from Cambridge you are speaking of!  My mind is spinning as I have been waiting to hear from my dear friend Ann I've met through MM.com.  We've PM'd and chatted with each other frequently, as we both not only have MM, but we recently corresponded quite a bit because we were both undergoing sleep apnea tests.  She did hers a week before me (last week in Sept) and immediately emailed me to let me know how it went, so as soon as I did mine (Oct 4), I emailed her.  We've also chatted about other things..whatever came to mind at the time.  ;Grin

As soon as you read my PM and email, please let me know...this just can't be the same Ann.  Just can't be.... Embarrassed

I can't wait to hear from you...

God's blessing,
Shan

Hi all,

I called and spoke with Ann's husband Tom...and I believe that this is our dear friend Ann that we've all gotten to know through this wonderful MM site...  I hope you don't mind me speaking on our behalf, but I also gave him our condolences...from all of us here on the mm.com site.  He gave me their home address, so if anyone would like to send a card to Ann's family, please PM me, and I can forward you their address.

I think besides Moira and myself, there may be many of you whose lives have been touched by Ann.  She was always there to offer advice, a compliment or ask questions and relay her concerns about something... Sometimes she just wanted to chat and ask me how the weather was here in Hawaii...  Our most recent conversations were about sleep apnea tests that we were both preparing for.  She did hers first (end of Sept), and as soon as she returned home, she emailed me to let me know how it went and what I could expect.  She tried so hard to comfort me and prevent me from worrying too much about the procedure.  As her friend Suzanne mentioned, she was a very caring person...and will be deeply missed.

I do pray for her husband Tom and her two young boys...all of whom she expressed great love for.

With much  Smiley,
Shan

p.s.  Since being diagnosed with MM, the one thing I've truly learned is that "life is too short...." so we must embrace and live each day to its fullest.  God Bless You, Ann.  Smiley

*There is a guestbook that you can sign on the website listed above, or if you'd like...feel free to join Moira and I and express your thoughts here.*

Dear Friends of Ann,

I just received an email from Tom, Ann's husband.  It seems like Ann's passing was in fact, sudden due to a stroke.  He also mentioned in his email that he apologizes for us finding out about her passing via "second hand basis."  Please continue to keep Tom and their 2 sons, and family in your prayers as they seek comfort from the loss of their dear wife, mother...and our friend, Ann.

Blessings to you and your family, Tom...always... I know it may be difficult right now, but please do not hesitate to visit us every now and then.  We're here for you!  Smiley

Forever friends...Forever in our Smileys...

I just realised that I chatted with Anne not that long ago.I only realised it because I read  what was posted as a quote on another thread about God being there for her when she colapsed in a parking lot(we chatted about this).Wow it really hit me.I remember talking about our children and she had so many wonderful things to say about her boys, she was so very proud of them and I hope they know that.I just can't believe god would take their mommy, but he must have needed her a for something very important.I too believe that god will see us through our difficult times. It helps me to make sense of it all.I pray for Anne's family, for the strength they will need, and for peace in their life.I'm so sorry........

I remember talking to Ann via Live Chat.  When I talked of my three teenage boys she PM me asking me some questions as her two were younger.  I enjoyed her telling me how much she enjoyed my posts and she just raved and raved about MM.com.

I've been away from the site and the first post I opened touched me deeply...tears flowed.

I send deepest and warmest thoughts to her husband and two boys...may they find all the strength to move on with the wonderful memories of their wife/mother.

warmest and heartfelt hugs to Ann's family and friends,

carol

Hi Grasshopper,

And how are you doing?  Yes, I remember the 3 of us in the "chat" room... I do miss her too...

Her husband, Tom and her mom have both emailed me and have sent well wishes to all of us for being a part of her life.

Blessings~

A special thanks to those of you who got to know Ann through this amazing site and posted a message for Ann's family in her local newspaper, the Star Tribune. I know her family deeply appreciates it.  I'm also sure others, just out of curiosity, may have visited this wonderful site to see what we're all about.  Wink
