First post-op visit went very well
Oct 20th, 2005 at 3:52pm

Well my first post op visit was yesterday 10-19.
I'm happy to say that17 metal staples and enough nylon suture to go surf fishing with are now history 8)Along with most of the pain Smiley

I also had a cat scan to make sure things looked good.   I was unable to meet with Dr Connolly . because he was called into emergency surgery for a ruptured anyuerism Smiley

Imagine something like that getting priority over me Roll Eyes (just kidding

Well he just called me as I'm writing this post and said the scan looked perfect   SmileyThank you lord.

Take care all of you     Tom G ;Grin

So glad to hear you had good news, Tom!  It's such a relief to hear those words, isn't it?  Sounds like you're on the way, and hopefully soon ALL your pain will be gone!

Smiley Tom,

Wow, great news. Congratulations. I'm glad to hear that everything went well.

In terms of Halloween, Party City has some nice FAKE stiches that you can use....I know, there not as good as the real thing, but like you said, most of the pain went away with the real ones.

I was misdiagnosed with MM in March of 2005. In January 2006, I was told it is not MM, but rather a massive restriction in the MC1 segment of my left carotid artery.
