Hi Tom,

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Ann through this wonderful site.  She was always there to offer comfort and support...always had a very positive outlook!  She is survived by her husband Tom, and two beautiful young sons whom she expressed sincere love for.

We both recently underwent similar sleep apnea tests and were awaiting our results.  You can click on "Members" then find her name and you can click on her past posts.

I'll also "bump" the message Ann's friend Suzanne posted...

Ann was a great friend and will be truly missed.... Smiley

Take care,
Shan

Below is an exerpt from her husband Tom's message. He also gave me his address, so if anyone is interested in sending him and the boys a card, please PM me... Her mom also sent me an email and thanked all of us for befriending her beloved daughter... I took Ann's passing really hard, as I'm sure many of you did too...but together we can continue to support each other as we "take the bull by the horns" and raise awareness of this "rare" disease.......

I am sorry that you had to find out on a second hand basis about Ann's passing.  I was so wrapped up in my grief and worry that I forgot totally about her online friends.  She went into the hospital on Sept 27th with a 911 call by me.  she came out of the bedroom with stroke like symptoms.  The ambulance came and took her to the local ER who stabilized her and air lifted her to a level one trauma center.  This was the same one she went to with her first bleed.  She never woke up after she left the house.  I will miss her more than I can put to words.  Thank you for caring about her.  Peace and Blessings, Tom

Hi Tom,

Glad to see you are doing well after your surgery.

I got an email from Ann's husband and he told me that she went to hospital by ambulance with "stroke like symptoms"after he called 911 and she never woke up.
I still  feel so so sad after hearing of her passing as I too would chat online to her.
She leaves a husband and 2 children.
