I suffered a mild stroke before being diagnosed with MM.  It all started with a very bad headache.  I had some numbness on my left side.  Didn't think anything of it but a bad migraine, until my boyfriend told me that my mouth was drooping.  I then told him to bring me to the hospital (this was 2 days later) where they took a CT scan (it showed a bleed).  I was then sent via air ambulance to Oahu where I was diagnosed with MM after doing a cerebral angiogram.  I had some paralysis on my left-side of my body.  The most paralysis is gone, but I still have some slurring when I speak.  I have not suffered any strokes since being released from the hospital at the end of June.  I still have some trouble writing (my hand gets tired) my handwriting is never going to be the same (I'm left-handed) ;.  Sorry being ambidextrous is not going to happen....my right hand does like being told what to do.
