Tyler's headaches getting worse
Dec 1st, 2005 at 7:32am

Sorry it's been awhile since I have been on. With the end of the semester and trying to get my work done I have been a bit busy.

We are heading on 3 years since Tylers stroke and although his headaches have never been as bad as other peoples, he had the worse one since his surgery this morning.

Has anyone else had their headaches get worse over time?

I will be getting hold of the Nerologist when the sun comes up, but just wanted to see what you all have to say.

Thanks

Hi Rena
Sorry to hear that Tyler's headaches are getting worse.
I had my surgeries 4 years ago, and within the past 2 months mine got worse than they had ever been. Went to my neurologist who did an MRI/MRA and couldn't find any problem. He suggested I changed my pain killers, which I did, and now they have gone again. I have been totally headache free for about a month. I have resigned myself to the fact that headaches will be part of my life in the future, and as long as there are no MM problems (the surgery is well and truly doing it's job) I have no need to panic! (that's my thoughts as to how I deal with this)
Best wishes
Moira

Hi Rena!

Nice to see you back . . . I know how busy things are for everyone this time of year!

I'm sorry to hear Tyler's headaches have worsened.  We haven't had that experience with Tara, but she's just reaching the 18 month post-op mark.  What did the neurologist say?  I'll be anxious to hear about it, but in the meantime will hope that Tyler feels better.
