Hi, just a quick post,
Firs, update re a prev info post, I am still waiting for appt for Lydia's MRI and angiogram at the MM clinic in London(Great Ormond Street Childens Hospital) Probably be after Christmas now.
In meantime, quick question re symptoms. Lydia has been doing really well and has not had a TIA for over 6 weeks now. But she keeps complaining of puffy cheeks and her cheeks go very flushed, when they do, she says they are not numb, just feel very puffy and she feels unwell. Last night she complained again, and woke up in the night, very distressed, saying cheeks puffy, and that she just felt unwell. She is now in a deep sleep so I will keep her home from school.
Do you think this is a type of TIA, does anyone else suffer from similar symptoms.
Also, when she has her MRI do you think I should have a doppler scan also, as I have never been informed as to the % of occlusion in her arteries and she has only had one doppler scan when she had her stroke 3 years ago?
thanks Louise
