Also...any advice as to where to stay while we are in Boston? I saw a Best Western that is close to the hospital. Is it clean and accomodating?
Thx!

We have stayed in that Best Western many times.  It is practically connected to the hospital...go out on the 5th floor through the shopping mall.

Be sure to ask for the hospital rate.  It is clean and nice...except sometimes you do hear quite a few ambulances go by at night!

My parents stayed at the Best Western during the 2 weeks I was in Boston.  This was very convenient as my mom had to come back to the hospital twice, late at night, because I was having "issues" after my surgeries.  It's not the cheapest place, but my mom said it was worth it because she was so close.

As always...thank you so much for thr info!!!!

We will go up Superbowl Sunday....Feb 5th and return Tuesday Feb 7th at this point. I am so sorry that we won't be there the 3rd.

Dr Scott said that if confirmed, we would look at surgery in about 4 weeks. The time gap scares me a little. Every day that goes bby with out a stroke a sigh in relief!!!!

Chad and I stayed at the Beacon House $30.00 a night 59.00 a night thats hospital rate the 30.00 a night is in the annex and that comes with 2 single beds a small fridge and a microwave, cable t.v and u have too share a kitchen and 2 full bathrooms with others when u stay there..they also do have laundry facilities there. And you and ur family are going too have too call 7 days in advance too tell Sharon how long u need the room and she'll reserve or hold it for you if u don't have a credit card.If you need more info just e-mail me and I'll find every info i have and I'll give it you. But that is where i stayed and my husband stayed each time we have too go too Boston at Mass General.  And they also have shuttle bus too go to Shaws.  Willing too help anyone out with places too stay at decent prices when they are in Boston.
