Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) and Hemorrhagic Stroke

Well folks, it looks like our doctors new what they were talking about when recommending that we not take any OTC's with Phenylpropanolamine.

The following two links are quite interesting. The first link is to the FDA web site and there comments about the link between PPA and health issues. The second link is also to the FDA website, but is related to Yale School of Medicine regarding PPA and Strokes in Women.

I was misdiagnosed with MM in March of 2005. In January 2006, I was told it is not MM, but rather a massive restriction in the MC1 segment of my left carotid artery.
