Severe Arm Pain

Dane aged 13 - 11 mths since surgery, Left & Right STA MCA plus 4 burr holes down central line.

Dane is now sufferring from episodes of severe pain in his right arm. These episodes can last for 15 - 45 mins and come on causing him to gringe in pain and cry, cold flushes.The pain subsides for a few minutes then come on again. He has also had an episode in his leg. Following these episodes he has weakness in the arm ( unable to use or crasp) but seems to recover.

He complains of pain in his arm most days but these episodes are severe.

Has anyone else sufferred from these episodes and has there been an explanation for them.

Hi, sorry that Dane suffer from the pain, I have that pain and the weakness, the longest episode is my right arm for 12 hour. My doctor told me it is one of the symtem of MM, He said that it will getting better over the time( I have both left & right surgery also, the 2nd one is on 11/17 of this yr. But for sure you call and have neurologist check him out just be safe. Gool luck and take care.
