Hello MM family!!!!!!!

I just wanted to share our good news! Cassie had a MRI/MRA last friday, and Dr. Scott says everything looks stable and he can see collateral vessels!! HOORAY!!

AND, not only that, but for the first time ever, she did the MRI awake, with no sedation !! (If you remember, Cassie has major ADHD-like symptoms from her stroke - so this was a HUGE accomplishment!!!)
In typical twin style, Kate is t-o'd, because Cassie got to listen to music during her MRI AND, they even stopped to let her go to the bathroom in the middle of it. Kate, my more mature, less nudgy, didn't have a stroke child has done her MRI's without meds for the last two years and was never offered music or the bathroom!!

It's ok, if this is our biggest problem, we're in great shape!
Had you told me, three years ago that I'd be celebrating something like this, I wouldn't have believed you. Three years ago she wasn't walking, talking, speaking or swallowing after her strokes. Now, I can't keep up with her!

To all of you with MM, I am so proud and impressed with all of you. You keep going, never give up, you're all a true inspiration to me.
Thank you for making us part of your family.

HERE'S TO THREE MORE YEARS!! (And then three more, and three more, and three more....................)
Hugs and kisses,

Kristen
