Involuntary Movement on right = Hemichorea
Mar 29th, 2007 at 3:50pm

Hello again!
I was diagnosed with Hemichorea regarding the involuntary movement on my right side.  My neurologist conferenced with Dr. Steinberg's office, they requested an angiogram on last Friday.   There is no blockage, however, they think the left side flow is slower than the right side.  Sooo, I've been advised to stop taking the BP meds and started taking Keppra (anti-convulsant meds) to control the movements.  Unfortunately, my angry mood swing is 0-90 in 10 seconds ...but it seems better than Depakote (atleast for me). It made me very fearful.  Next test, SPECT test (which I hate).  I will keep you posted.  take care!
