TV program mentioned MM
Sep 29th, 2007 at 12:04am

Hello all,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen the show Diagnosis X on TLC. I watched for the first time the other night and during the show their was a young girl who had a stroke and one of the doctors mentioned that it could be Moyamoya. It ended up that she had another issue but it was kind of cool that they mentioned MM and they even went to explain what MM is. Just wondering if anyone else saw the episode. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hi Christy!

I didn’t see it, but it sure is great news that it was even mentioned. At least the medical profession is recognizing MM as a possibility more often now. Ya gotta love that!

Thanks for sharing sweetpea!

Hi Christy,

I haven't seen the TV program but I will check it out.

It's always good news to hear the word on MMD is getting out even if it was mentioned only as a possibility.
Let's us know the medical community has an awareness about MMD.

Thanks for sharing!

Hugs,

Lore
