I hope you don't mind me posting this here.This is a link to an article about the release of a new movie.You can form your own opinion but  please be informed before you rush to the theatre to see this one.As you may know my daughter was born with Down syndrome so this is something I feel very passionate about,also most of you already know how preciouse life is and how quickly it can change for anyone at anytime.We all know that a sudden stroke can hit at anytime,and leave any given person with multiple dissabilities.Therefor I hope that you will join in hte boycott of this very offensive movie.Parents and self advocates have worked soooo hard to eliminate the word "retard" from our vocabulary and to accept persons with dissabilities into our society as valuable individuals.This movie has the ability to spread a very negative attitude to socieety please take a moment to read this and pass along what this movie is really about.There are some big name stars who I now have a very different opinion aobut becuase they feel this is OK even funny.Thank you for reading this.

Thank you Shan for taking the time to share this with your family and friends.My hope is that by "boycotting" this film,film makers will get the message this kind of humor is just not acceptable.I think they've crossed the line with this one.It's too late to stop the release or get changes in the dialogue,but it's not to late to send them a message if you feel the same way I do about this subject matter.I'm not trying to recruit anyone to feel as I do just trying to inform anyone who thinks aobut seeing this to be informed about the content of the film and it's message.Thanks again Shan!
