New members - Back from Stanford
Dec 17th, 2008 at 11:29pm

Hello All,

We are new members, with this being our first post.

My wife went through surgeries on the 11/11 & 11/18 at Stanford and all is going great.

We can`t say enough about the staff at Stanford, everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful.  Enough can not be said for the  surgery team, ICU nurses and the entire support team Teresa/Bob/Jill)

While in CA, we were able to meet up with some members of the site for dinner,  it was a pleasure, so let us know your screen names if you read this and we will try and keep in touch.

We returned home the day before Thanksgiving, and have been enjoying a new outlook on life and priorities.

If we can be of any assistance or answer any questions.  Post em up or give a PM.  We`ll try out best to "pay it forward"

Thanks,

Allison and Lee from Pennsylvania

Welcome Allison and Lee to the Moyamoya family.

Glad to hear Allison is doing well.

The Stanford Moyamoya team is like no other. They are FABULOUS! My brother was treated at Stanford in 2005 and to this day, we are in awe of their knowledge, experience, dedication, caring and compassion. They have the entire process down to a science and it flows like clockwork. We are forever grateful and indebted to Dr. Steinberg and the entire Moyamoya team for saving my brother's life.

Keep us posted on Allison's progress.

Regards,

Lore
