cheri, Everyone is different so it is hard to say if you personaly need to have another surgery or not. MM is progressive, so it could be you might have had a very big issues on one side and then had the surgery, and then not that that is fixed. They might be able to detect something on the other side sice the scans are not being overwelmed by the side that the surgey fixed. Of there is the case that you progressed into having another surgery. I can't give the answer in YOUR case.
In my case, my nurologest had me do a scan six months, then a year, then 3 years to see if I had any progrssion after the surgery. There was a spot in the six months he was very minorly questioning, then in the year exam it looked like it got "better". i put quotes around better since it just appeared to flow better. My nurologest is having me keep a journal of all my migrains. To find out what triggers them. What was I doing on the onset of one. Area, smells, ect. Also when did I take my medication and how long before my migraine was reliefed. We review it every year and he may have and angio schedualed.
I hope you get good results. i will pray for you. Becky
