I have not reached the 10 years yet, I just had my 5 year anivarsary. Have you discussed this with her nurologest and ask about EMS - indirect bypass -> muscle (and it's bloody supply) is laid down on the surface of the brain and left to grow. My nuologest did both STA MCA  and the EMS since he didn't think the STA MCA would be enough. I hope you hear from some with the longer experence. I will pray for you and your daughter.

What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. And sometimes leaves a cool looking scar.     STA-MCA bypass and EMS Surgeries done at same time at the Mayo clinic

Please get your daughter to a competent neurologist.  MM is a progressive disease that can "re-appear" at any time.  Does she still do any follow up care with whoever did her surgery?  That might be a good place to start!  If there is any new narrowing of the arteries they should be able to compare any new scans with old ones and make that determination!  Good luck and keep us posted!  Many prayers for you and your family

Yeah, me too. Almost two weeks ago I had a TIA, the only one since my surgeries at Stanford Fall 2007. It scared the bejeezus out of me and my family. The good news is that the MRI/MRA showed that I hadn't had a stroke. I have to admit that I had slacked on my diet (gained back about 20 pounds - sure was easy), wasn't exercising and was probably (OK definitely was) working longer hours than I should have been Embarrassed .Well, you can bet that's all changed. I'm back to Weight Watchers, swimming and water aerobics, and not working late hours; also drinking plenty of water. Maybe this was just a wakeup call? I sure hope that's all it was. I've also been told to keep a careful record on my blood pressure. Seems strange to me that after dealing with high blood pressure for nearly twenty years, now it appears to be on the low side. I wonder if that's because the bypasses are working and now my body thinks it needs less pressure? That though is contrary to what Dr. Steinberg wants.

So if anyone else has gotten somewhat lax in taking care of themselves, I hope you'll learn from my experience and put yourself first.
