1 year anniversary
Feb 23rd, 2009 at 8:46pm

Wow, did I really it make it to one year. How quickly this year passed by. My one year anniversary is February 26, 2009. Never in a million years could I ever forget any detail of this walk through this disease. The emotions are on the upswing and I don't think about it as much as I use to. I still have days when it is rough and it makes me cry. I have days when I struggle and wonder why me. However, in the last month I have been able to take this experience and turn it into a positive relating experience to my patients who suffer diseases who have no cure. It's been so wonderful to give back to each and every patient 100 fold of what I have been given to me. I love everyone on here and I have not met anyone except for Jill. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement. 1 year out from surgery...I can't wait for all of the other anniversaries.

Reagan,

You made it!

Congratulations on reaching your one year anniversary.

The one year anniversary was a milestone for my brother and a relief to him. He accomplished so many positive things in that one year.

The emotions you mention are real and experienced by most who take the MM journey. Your upward and positive momentum is obvious and inspires all.

Your patients are blessed to have someone as compassionate and caring as you.

Hugs,

Lore

Congratulations, Reagan! Somehow making it to that first anniversary makes it so much easier to accept that everything really is going to be OK.

Thank you all...It was a wonderful day. Would have been better if the sun was shining (instead of rain) here in Missouri. At least I know the sun was shining somewhere.
