Ten years after -- not just a singing group!
Mar 1st, 2009 at 3:44pm

It's been ten years since my first major stroke --  which led me to Stanford for surgery in 2000.

Much has happened since then.
Surgery, another wipe out stroke, building abilities, learning with who I am now, and most of all,
meeting so many people who I am tremendously thankful for.
All of your journeys have been close to my heart and your support has been incredible.

Thanks especially to my husband, family and friends, everyone at Stanford, and all of you on the board. This has been a true gift.

Many thank,

Linda  (LA)

Well done Linda

Reading about these lengthy milestones gives us relative noobys (newcomers) a lot of hope.

Stay strong

Hey Linda....as you know I am rarely on here and I didn't see this until today!  Congrats on the milestone!!!!  You and Jack were such a joy when I was at Stanford.  I even tried to look my best for the visit Smiley
You know our picture is on the website!!!

Hope to see you both at the picnic.
Love to you both

Congratulations Linda!!  The ten year anniversary is quite a milestone.  My son will have his 10 year from the date of his first stroke in another two weeks!  I hadn't really realized it until I saw your post.

I wish you another ten happy, healthy years to come.  (I'll wish you more then . . .  Wink  )
