Dr. Edward Robert Smith who works with Dr. Michael Scott at Children's Hospital Boston spoke at the International Moyamoya Angiopathy Symposium in Stanford this Saturday. He said that they have isolated several proteins in the urine of children with Moyamoya Disease. They are developing a simple test somewhat like the dipstick tests used to test for pregnancy to easily and identify children who are at risk of the disease.

I was told that it would be available online. Haven't heard yet where or how to access it. I'll post the information the very moment I have it. I think everyone should listen to these presentations. We need know as much as we possibly can about this disease. Most of what I heard was hopeful.
