As Mary Grace mentioned, the memories of waiting out a surgery day don't fade. Those of us who have done it understand completely the myriad of emotions and angst you have now. All you want to hear is that she's o.k., and you'll probably dissolve into a pile of mush once you're told that. Courtney is in great hands though, and hopefully your day isn't terribly long, with good news at the end of it.

Please keep us posted as you are able. We're definitely with you in spirit!

The staff in the ICU and 9th plant is wonderful. My daughter Paula was operated by Dr. Scott and Dr. Smith 4 months ago and everybody there was extremely caring and profesional. All the best, Paula
