Dry ear skin? (Read 1951 times)

Twyla New Poster Offline I Love MM.com! Posts: 19	Dry ear skin? Aug 26^th, 2009 at 1:13am It has been a year since the last surgery, but I still have extra dry ithcy skin around by insintion which is close to my ear. Sometimes the skin toward the top of my lobe is flakey. I have tried vitamin E, but the crusty stuff still comes back. Anybody successfully solved this problem?

Reply #1 - Aug 26^th, 2009 at 12:13pm Twyla, You are not alone. It has been almost 4 years postop for me and i still get a dry itchy around the insision from time to time. I sugest keeping yourself hydrated and maybe switching shampoo/conditioner to something that has more moisture or dandruf control. That has helped me. Becky
