DARCI,
It sounds like you are dehydrated, and may not be getting enough rest. I know when I get dehydrated or tiered my body doesn't act right. My grip and my limp act up on my stroke side. If it keeps up or gets worst then call your neurologest ASAP. Yes everything is a bit out of sorts during our "special" once a month gift. During the first year of my recover from the surgey, I was like you in the first two months, then over time it got better. I have had only one insidance recently that made me call my neurologest. He saw me right away and then after talking with me he asked if I wanted an angoigram but it sounded more like a stress related and perscribed me to relax and have fun for the next two days if it got worst then he would schedual the angiogram. Well everything got better. I moved into our fisrt house, had my school final comming up, got a new better job (in the same company), and my Dad was having medical issues he is all better nothing serious but didn't know at that time).
I hope this helps,
Becky

What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. And sometimes leaves a cool looking scar.     STA-MCA bypass and EMS Surgeries done at same time at the Mayo clinic

Hi Darci,
Stress, fatigue and dehydration are the culprits that cause me problems. These can cause my speech to deteriorate and the deficits due to the stokes to be more evident; usually weakness in my left hand. We need to take better care of ourselves than we did before. We're worth it!

I am 3 yrs out, but still get sx's of my left arm/hand being tingly & tired. REST, REST, REST when you find any sx's flaring up. Like Kim said, a good indicator is when your speech starts getting affected....that's when "I" know I've pushed my limits. Staying hydrated is the other most important MM advise.

We are not cured....just re-plumbed!
