My adult son has MM

Christian was diagnosed August 2009 and went through about 30 days of waiting to see a neurologist...and then 30 days of testing to get to this point.  We have been blessed that he has had no further strokes to date. 

His surgery will be Oct 14 in Houston.  We are traveling down from Dallas area to have Dr. James Rose perform the surgery at Methodist Hospital Houston.  We will most likely be in Houston two weeks. 

All is well for now.  Praying things will remain status quo until the surgery.

Welcome to the family. I am happy to hear your son Christian is getting the help he needs. Yes it is not uncommon for a long time between inital "wait and see" or in my case "you cant have it because you are not asian". You are on the right path now.

Christian is in wonderful hands.  Dr Rose did my first surgery on September 14, and will be doing my second on November 16.  he is a great surgeon and a just a wonderful person.  the staff at Methodist is really great as well.  hope everything goes as good for Christian as it has for me.

Cindy, Welcome to the mm family. Just want to send Christian and your family my prayers. I was diagnosed in 2002 and had bypass in 2003.
