Insurance Coverage

Did any one ever have an insurance problem covering medical expenses associated with correcting their Moya Moya, especially if you had to go outside their coverage network?

Back about 11 years ago I wanted to get a second opinion from docs at Columbia Presbyterian in NYCity, and me insurance denied it. I never went.
