Lindsey's Surgery Update
Apr 13th, 2010 at 4:40pm

Hello Everyone,

Lindsey had surgery on the left side on March 31, 2010 by Dr. Steinberg at Stanford University.  We got home on April 8 and so far she is doing great.  No more TIA's or seizure like activity since surgery.  YEAH!!!

It was scary and surgery was rough but we made it.  If you want to see pictures and read about our journey, we posted on www.caringbridge.org/visit/lindseyupdate.

Thanks to this website and the people who respond to the messages we were able to find Dr. Steinberg and get a diagnosis after years of symptoms.  We were also able to speak with Anne Marie and Margaret her Mom as well as Tara and her parents about the surgery and the disease.  It was very comforting to know we were not alone.

Sincerely,

Corinne Dupuy

That's a fantastic report, Corinne!  It was wonderful to meet you guys, and I'm so happy Lindsey's recovery is going well.  She looked great, and I'll bet she was happy to get back to her familiar stomping grounds, friends, etc.  Hopefully you're able to breathe a little easier as time goes by, too!  It's all a process, but you're definitely not alone.
