6 years Today!!

At this time 6 years ago, I am in the preparing at the hospital for my surgeries. I will be undergoing the STA-MCA and the EMS on my left side. My husband and my mother are with me.

Today my husband and I are going to have a celebration with friends like a birthday party.

Becky, CONGRATULATIONS!!! 6 years is certainly a reason to celebrate. This site was not here when Kathleen was diagnosed so I know all too well how different it is for those who can come here as soon as they're diagnosed. We felt soooo alone in thie and had such a hard time finding updated information, We had no one to talk with who had been through this. So let me second that "thanks DJ you;ve made such a difference in so many lives.

My 4yr milestone just passed and this site was there for me, from diagnosis through surgery! It was such a calming force, knowing so many people had great "post-surgical" results. May you have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate!
