When i was diagnosed the nurologest sent me to get a second opinion. This nurologest didn't believe I could have MM, but I was getting worse and that nurologest couldn't figure it out. That nurologest knew what MM is but had never had a person with it. The second opinion was to a nurological team at the Mayo Clinic in MN. They diagnosed me with the MM, and did the surgerys. I expressed i didn't want to go back to that nurologest who sent me to the Mayo, so they looked for a person who has exprence with MM pacitens closer to where I lived. I was lucky and they found a nurologest who works closer to where I live. I was going in for anual Angios for the first two years, but I have been symptomatic free for going on four years now with decreasing migraine occurances so my current nurologest siad he will see me every 5 years unless I have issues or the migranes frequencys increase.

I know this may not have helped but this is what I do for my followups.
