3 year anniversary...With many more to come
Feb 8th, 2011 at 9:49pm

Wow, I can't believe that in 18 days I will hit my 3 year post surgery mark. I have been less active on this board than I would like but with two small children ages 4 and 6 added to working full-time; time just gets away from me. Every day is a blessing to me and I have spent a lot of time sharing with patients that I see daily. I don't think that 3 years ago I would have truly believed that the fear gets less each day and each year post op, I gain a new confidence and perspective on life. I'm still thankful for the wonderful support of this website and all of the friends that I have made along the way. Also grateful for the wonderful people of Stanford for giving me the most awesome gift of having a chance to see my children grow.

Congratulations Reagan.  I hope you have something fun planned to celebrate!  We treat Destin's anniversary like a second birthday and plan a fun event to mark the day.
