Hi everyone, is it safe to give a 16 year old enteric coated asprin? I'm just wondering if anyone takes it and if it is safe with moyamoya?  thanks charl

Hi, Charl.

As a matter of fact, we asked our neurologist the same question about two weeks ago!!

He said it's ok, as long as the aspirin is the same dosage as the chewable one you were taking.

Thank you so much, molly has been having belly trouble and i wondered if it might help. l remember you were the first one i spoke to on here when molly was going for surgery, just wanted to say hi and glad all is going well with the girls, they are all fighters! Amiee molly's mom

I'm so sorry to hear that Molly's having trouble!  I hope the enteric coated aspirin helps. 

Does she take it with food?  I wonder if that would help too?

Keep your chin up - this is a process, we learn new tips every day!  This is definately the right place to be - MM.com - the folks here can really help!

I hope Molly's feeling better soon.  We're thinking of you!!

HI everyone,
Just had our yearly update with Dr. Scott. He said enteric coated aspirin is fine for molly as you all said, this came from his mouth, just wanted to share my information with all of you!
