My daughter Lindsey (moyamoya surgery March 2010) was diagnosed today with severe pulmonary hypertension (PH) and the right side of her heart is enlarged from the increased pressure. I was wondering if this is related in any way to her Moyamoya disease?

When I read up on PH it indicates that the small arteries in the lungs thicken and choke up. 

She also has Down Syndrome and other heart disease.

Any information is greatly appreciated.  She was put on Lasix and Norvasc today.
