Nearly 2 months after diagnosis and looking into our options in Philadelphia and around the east coast, my wife had surgery on 11/8 at Stanford. Dr. Steinberg and about 1000 residents were professional and really were fantastic to work with. He improved the blood flow by about 20x's. He said she actually had a negative blood flow and here internal cerebral artery was completely closed off. We thank God for giving Dr. Steinberg the wisdom to take care of this. My wife is doing fine and resting. the trademark black eye is fading.
We are so glad we do not need a 2nd surgery.

That's wonderful news! I'm so glad her surgery went well and recovery is uneventful. Keep us posted.

I am so hapy to hear your wife's recovery is uneventful. Dr. Steinberg is amazing, and I am so happy to hear that she doesn't need a 2nd surgery.

Kelly, that's a great news if your wife doesn't need to go through the second surgery...Between felt good to hear that your wife is all well now.
