Currently Holly has been in the hospital for a severe Migraine that had been going on for a month.  She was admitted on Wednesday night.  This afteroon she had a bi-lateral occipital nerve block and she is currently headache free....we will see how long it lasts.

Anyone at Stanford?  We will more than likely go home tomorrow, but just thought I would share

Hope Holly feels better soon and the block works.  I haven't heard of that.  Destin suffers with headaches/migraines as well.  She is currently taking medication but it doesn't seem to help.  Let me know she does with it.

The doctors had a pain management team come in and they are the ones that suggested it.  All the specialists gave their approval and so it happened.  So far no Migraine headache!!  Worth checking into.  We will know more over the next few days how it is working.

I went online and looked up the procedure.  Looks like it's for migraines in the back of the head as opposed to the forehead where Destin gets hers.  Is that where your daughter has hers?  I will definitely bring it up to the doctors.  Hope she continues migraine free.
