head vs. pavement
Dec 19th, 2003 at 2:16pm

Hi everyone,

I took a nasty fall 2 days ago and slammed my head on the parking lot pavement. I lost my balance and as I was falling it seemed like it was in slow motion until the impact.

They rushed me to the ER and they ran a CT SCAN. The doctor came back with the results. He said they found nothing. Nothing? Not even brain matter?

Has this ever happened to anyone and what symptoms should I be aware of?

Dazed but not confused,

Doug

Doug,
If your trying to figure out if you have any brain matter there is only one way to tell. If you have a sudden urge to go into politics then most likely it's gone.....lol.

No offense meant to anyone already in politics.

Hi Rena,

No, I  never had any political aspirations of my own, but do you think that I could win on "Survivor"? I was seriously comtemplating whether I should sign up or not. Hell, eating maggots is child's play compared to a  stroke.Smiley

You do have a point there. Maybe we should start our own show. "MM Survivors", The networks should pay good money for it. I know the stories I've heard on here are better than any soap operas or game shows out there. They have more intense plot and suspense. We could have a non-MM patient play against a MM survivor and see who has the better survivor story. The audience would be the judge.

Then again, the show wouldn't last long, when everyone realized they couldn't beat the MM survivors, because with MM even the families of the survivors would win with all they have to go thru.

So Doug, go on "Survivors" and show them they don't have a clue as to what tough is.
