Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I posted a message and I wanted to give an update.  Last time I posted was after my first surgery.  I've since had my second surgery (Dr. Scott - two surgeries a week apart).  Unfortunately, I had a stroke some time between the the two surgeries.  This affected my speech and the strength in my right hand (I'm right handed).  When I first woke up after the second surgery I could't speak at all.  I also had to learn how to type and write again.  But I'm doing well!!  I'm going to therapy (occupational and speech) and am talking more every day.  I can't tell you how wonderful Dr. Scott was.  He's the man!!!

     Hi Shari well you sure went through a lot in a short time.  God bless you for a complete recovery and dont forget to ask saint philomena to help you through your recovery..  Stay well and optimistic.

Shari, I'm glad to hear that yuo are recovering nicely.Dr.Scott is an amazing person.My daughter had a very severe stroke in  between her surgeries.Will keep you in our prayers for a quick and full recovery.
