Been awhile since I have been on the site, so I am catching up all in one post.

Just let Michael know he has alot of love and support. It was hard for my son too, Tyler is 12 and was 11 when he had his stroke and subsequent surgeries.

Shari,
Tyler had his surgeries a week apart. It was scary as heck, but he did great. We even did some sight seeing between surgeries, he just stared back at the people rude enough to stare at him  8).

Kathy,
I know you had surgery yesterday, just wanted to say I pray all goes well. We had to wait 3 months for a diagnosis after Tyler's stroke and another 4 months for surgery. Enough to drive a person crazy .

I also have to agree with everyone. , not only did it help me find the best care for Tyler (the doctors here couldn't even tell me the difference between the two types of surgeries), it also saved my sanity to know I wasn't alone and that so many people have made it through all this.
