Holly's second surgery
May 26th, 2004 at 7:41pm

Dr. Steinberg just came and talked to us and said she did well throughout her surgery and that i can see her in a couple of hours, they were going to check the other side out and see about taking the staples out while she was still asleep.  He said that he found a great vessel to use that was part of a branch and the other part would grow more vessels to help out.  No changes in her brain waves throughout either surgery and he got an immediate blood flow increase again just like the first side.  Will update more as the days go by, i'm anxious to go see her.

PatM,
Just Type what you want to color, change, or whatever, then highlight it click on what you want to do to it, one thing at a time. Repeat till it looks how you want.

Example Parenteses instead of brackets so you can see what it looks like:

(size=2)(b)(glow=pink,2,300)BRILLIANT(/glow)(/b)(/size)

Will give you:

BRILLIANT

Hope this helps everyone trying to figure it out.

Thanks Rena, just want to re-emphasize something you pointed out...

Using the "Preview" button will let you see exactly what your post will look like before it's actually posted.

If something isn't formatted exactly like you want it to be, change it in the text input area and keep using the "Refresh preview" button until it looks like you want it to... then use the "Post" button.

Hey Everyone

Update on Holly

We have seen Dr. Steinberg every night and he says she is doing great.  We are set to leave on Sunday and come back on Wed to have the stiches taken out.  She has an awesome room mate this time and they get along great, hang out on each others beds and watch movies.  Holly is happy they are both done and can't wait for it to heal and grow her hair back out, (you know how little girls are) Her mood is much better this time and her appetite and drinking are going well.  By the time we leave on Sunday she won't have to take anything but the aspirin once a day.

As the poem says that i posted....Thank you all sooooo very much, with out the support of everyone here, and everyone on the home end....it would of been much more stressful, but with all you sharing your experiences, you gave us something to look forward to and what to look forward to.  Holly has not had any TIA's for 2 wks now, and i think its awesome.  Doc said there is a great blood flow increase to both sides of the brain and things look great.

Take care everyone, and i'll try and update sunday before we leave, or after we get home.
