Update re Tara's 2nd Surgery
Jun 12th, 2004 at 2:46pm

First, thank you for all the kind notes that were sent on the day of Tara's 2nd surgery.

Tara's upstairs (as I type in Stanford's cafe) recovering from her second surgery.   This one was tougher.  The recovery from the first surgery went really well - almost too well.  This time around she has had alot of sensitivity around the incision, and has had several episodes of slurred speech and numbness.  The MDs and nurses say this is ok, just due to swelling at the incision.  Trust me, neither her mother nor I like the increased difficulty.

We'll keep put an update on when she gets out of the hospital - possibly tomorrow.

Please keep Tara in your thoughts and prayers.

Campbell

Thanks for the update! You all have been on my mind and I've been so just anxious to hear. I'm sure she'll pull out of this well. That is so common. God bless her! She's been a champ through it all. Tell her we're proud of her and lots a hugs! Smiley

God bless,
Mar

Campbell,
The second surgery does seem to be the hardest, if either one is hard. Tara will do great, she has alot of prayers heading her way.

Campbell,

I have sent you two private messages (just sent the second one now).  Have you received them?  I understand you've been busy and had a lot more on your mind than my messages, but I just wanted to make sure you got them.
