David's Second Surgery
Jun 29th, 2004 at 10:08pm

David is out of his second surgery.  Dr. Steinberg said everything went very well.  I have only seen him for a few seconds in route to the ICU, and he was already able to talk to me.  I am going to visit him in ICU in about an hour.

I'm so happy that it went well, I had such a great time visiting with you and the rest on monday, maybe we will get the chance to again....give David a hug from us and I'll share the news with my mom and kids, they have been asking about him.

Tell your mom hello from us as well and be strong, you all are in our prayers, do you think if you get a minute maybe you could check on Brent and see how he is tomorrow and let me know, that would be really cool

Thanks
Hillary

Well, David is out of ICU and in a regular room.  He's only had minor pain.  He has seemed to lose a little speech again but not nearly as bad as it was last week, and it is slowly clearing up.  We are happy to be through both surgeries.  If everything goes as planned, we can fly back home next Friday and see our children.

Angie,

You're a sweetheart for keeping us posted. You've been through alot yourself girl. It had to be a long few weeks for you too. When scarface gets stronger, he's gonna owe you big time on your "honey do" list...lol

We sure have a lot to be thankful for, huh!

Please give him a big hug...Smiley

Thanks,
Mar

Angie, I am so glad that Davis is finally through with both surgeries and everything went well.  I know that both of you are so glad that it is all behind you now.  I will continue to pray that the next few days will be good and before long, you will be back home with the kids where you both belong!  Thanks for keeping the "MM family" updated on his progress.  Laura from Louisiana Smiley

Angie:  Being away from my baby was the hardest part as well for me-Worse than the pain and nausia (sp.?) from the surgery.  Hang in there!  Now it just seems like a distant memory.  Hope everything goes as planned so ya can kiss your kids and put this behind you as well!! KissBestwishes to you and David,   Tricia Smiley
