I am home now.

Well I have had my operation on June 23rd by Dr.Steinberg.  I have had a problem after my post surgery on the 26th, I could not understand anything that was told to me and I could not speak,  but on the 29th of june I got it back.  I have met David and i wish he is going to heal well.  I have also met Holly and Hilliary and the rest of the family,  I wish I could understand when i was there just had my head swollen but now it is better and i have my life back.  I also met Connie and she was very nice,  I met her a few days before my operation and I got to talk to another moyer which was nice and to understand what I am going out.  Thanks to all that met me and I thanks to Dr.Steinberg.  Brent   Smiley

Brent, I'm so glad to hear everything went well.  You're among several people who had speech and/or comprehension problems after surgery recently.  That must have been frustrating for you.  Thank God you're recovered from that!

It sounds like Dr. Steinberg and the staff at Stanford have certainly had their hands full lately with people from this site!

It's not how much time we have that matters. It's what we do with the time we have.

Brent,  So glad everything is going well now and you are home(I bet that feels great!!)  I had a little trouble talking after the left side was done also. Fortunately for me, it only lasted a few days while it was still rather swollen.  My husband was concerned, but enjoyed the break I'm sure because I can be quite a talker at times!! Smiley  Anyway, hope you have continued recovery, and are back to your normal self soon!
Best wishes,  Tricia

;GrinSo glad that you are now home Brent.  I know that you are!!!  Nothing like the comforts of home.  Before long, this will all seem like so  long ago!!  I am so glad that you did so well and continue to do so.  Take care and remember that we are all still praying for you and keeping you in our thoughts!
