Hi Everyone,

An unique surgery for a unique young lady. I cannot thank DR. S and Teresa enough for what they did for me. Up until the moment of surgery Dr. S still did not know what he was going to do for me. Like I said in the beginning and I say it now. I have never been a normal person in anything that I have done in life.
In this case I gave Dr. S a challenge and he gave me a second chance in life. I am not going to take my life for granted anymore. I am now more determined than ever to change my quality of life and live the "Unique" life God has given me.
Dr. S did an amazing surgery to take my muscle that I use to chew my food and use it as a graft to fix my moyamoya disease instead of my omentum says alot about the compassion and love that he shows his patients. I have not seen a more humble, caring and loving surgeon in my life. Okay.. it gets on my nerves that it hurts to chew . But its a small price to pay to have LIFE!! So the name of this procedure is EMS. The "M" stands for muscle. How cool is that!!!!
So thank you to Dr. Steinberg, Teresa, Jill, Tara, Campbell, Cass, Katie, Jon, Sara, Bill, Keith. The other doctors at Stanford and lets not forget the nurses on B3. I love you all!!!! I don't know how to repay you all for everything!!!!!!!!!
