Hi Everyone,
It has been a little while since I was here. I saw the surgeon for the last time last week and got a clean bill of health. I had my first surgery 05/15/06. I had the right side done. They did an early MRI in Aug. of this year and they were able to see new growth. This is great news. I was taking vitamin B2 and it made my headaches and paralysis worse, I have since stopped it per the stroke Dr. My case is a little odd I think because my left side is fine and was not affected at all with MM. I still get headaches every now and then and a little bit of the paralysis. I hope all of you will read this and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I try not to dwell on it and live my life and it seems to be working. I wish all of you to be well. I was very lucky. Talk to you later ; Grin

Hi Lara,

So glad you're doing well. That’s wonderful news! That’s the kind of update we like to get. But please remember MM is a progressive disease and in many cases it can effect the other side of the brain down the road. So continue with the follow-ups, especially if the paralysis keeps up, that isn’t normal with a clean bill of health.

I believe that if you have a positive outlook and attitude things tend to be better rather than dwelling on them. Life is way toooooooo short ; Grin

What we all have been through we need to try to look at the brighter things in life. I laugh at myself and joke all the time at work like I need this like I need a hole in the head! Hey, I need 2 Cheesy

Also, I am as soft as a grape with the soft spots Wink

It could be a lot worse. I think that I have been very lucky. I did have a minor stroke and thankfully did not have any damage after and the disease has only affected 1 side and the other side is fine. I am thankful everyday and want you all to laugh with me Smiley

We are all in this together.
