I had my first Bypass on the left side on Aug. 7th 2006
(12 hours long).  I went in for the right side Jan 9th.  2007 which was about 7 hours.  My Doctor was unable to do the full bypass, But he brought the vessel to the top and secured it with muscle.  I has told that the blood flow on that side won't change for about six months.  He was scared that if he probed deeper I would have a major stroke.  I am doing great only spent one night in the hospital.  Now I get to do the waiting game till further test are done in late summer.  Any questions please fell free to ask.    I hope everybody has a great 2007!!!!!!!!

wow great to hear of your second surgery, wow the surgery was a long one huh?? it took my dr. 3 hrs to complete a edas, is that the normal time for having a direct done? wow nice recovery, 1 day!! great yeah i could have stayed 1 day but my mom wanted me to stay 1 more night because she was afraid i would fall.  so how's your recovery doing now, back to normal and doing everything?
